My Darlings
Yes, Yes, I am The Daisy and am to be appreciated for much . It is wise of you to seek my advice and I am happy to share some of my more common beauty advice. You may double click to read the letter I received. At first glance I was quite offended by being called a Raccoon but realized that the writer is from Virginia and that the term may well be a compliment in the Blue-Ridge. I am a Swiss Mountain girl myself and know that some terms of endearment can become confusing. When in my home country when the party is over and I am leaving I say "Jetz isch färtig luschtig" And around here you would just think I was talking about my flatulatious talents ( yes I made that word up , do you have a problem with that !!!! )
To make dull lifeless and limp hair alive with beauty you must first refuse to ever, ever, ever wash it ( this gives shine ) . If it feels itchy you roll on the sand until you mane is full of dirt,( this gives body), To groom it you stand head to butt and you itch their mane and they will itch yours ( this combs it ) . Hope that helps and I am sure that you will soon have a postage stamp with your beautiful self on it as well as we Haflingers
I appreciate your belief that I would be cared for better when the housekeeper came home but alas and alack , they have all but abandoned me. The housekeepers Dam has had to come here to take care of the big baby. She, that lazy housekeeper, came to see us this morning and was "kind" enough to give us a bite of meager rations as we had put ourselves in our rooms and just about locked ourselves in to make it easier for her . I say, "get a grip and get over it " When I split my hoof I didn't carry on like she is and I can assure you that chip in my hoof was very traumatic.
Keep me in your prayers that I can survive all this neglect
Beleaguered Daisy
