A Week in November 2009
This blog is just about the normal goings-on this week.
First we have a photo of the challenger to the throne. This is Rico Suave' and at 6 months old he is starting to show great potential and has much appeal for the hens. Tom had best watch his back, Rico may give him a run for his money!
Now for us horses, The weather has been nice and we have taken several strolls in the woods at Pop Ash Park.
After all rides, I critique Nickys performance. He says I am too stuck on myself and think I am better than anyone else but I know he appreciates me correcting him on every little thing he does. It is only for his own good.
We also had to discuss the matter that the human caretakers are leaving us in February to go to the far off land of Utah and go snow skiing. Little do they seem to realize that Snow is our middle name and Mountains are our birth place. They need to take us to Utah with them, We like skiing.
We received this lovely thank you note from our Pink Pony Party Participant. I think it is a remarkable likeness of us . She is so talented ! We also truly appreciate the sentiment, so thank you for your thank you !!!!

Tom went on another personal appearance to April From Special Equestrians School for Human Colts and Fillys.
Here is a picture of Tom , surrounded by human children. He put on a good show, gobbled some and strutted around nicely. He is either very brave or doesn't realize that most likely several of those human children brought turkey sandwiches for lunch.
That's all my news for now. I am feeling a bit under the weather this weekend and Nicky has a sore eye so we are going to take it easy for a few days and just hang out at the barn. There should be plenty to do though. The humans are having more dirt delivered and moving buildings and generally running around like ants. It is most entertaining and also rewarding because they give us snacks to keep us busy when they open and close the gate. Snacks are my favorite thing after total adulation by all who see me .... and dinner .
