GOODBYE RUSS

Russel Tennesen died suddenly on Thanksgiving evening after having enjoyed a lovely day with his family.

We are thankful that we knew Russ and our hearts break for his family.

I understand that the human economy is in distress but I want my faithful readers to realize that we still live in a land of extreme abundance. We are still blessed and should be on our face in thanksgiving to God, the giver of all things.

PS Nicky's eye is healing and I am thankful for that too.

Nicky Update and Turtle News

Hello all,

As promised here is a picture of Nicky in his eye patch. He will have to wear it for several weeks and the lazy bum won't have to go hiking. He and Fiona can hang out and watch TV or something . I hear that I am going anyway with the girls , Chili and Breeze. I will definitely let you know how it goes. Here is our groundskeeper, making more ground. The pond is just getting too close to the barn and house so we are filling it back in a bit.

Bad news

YO HO HO AND A BOTTLE OF GRAIN !!!

This is a picture of a pirate horse. You ask ....Why a pirate horse, what is she trying to say to us ????

My Boyfriend Nicky had to go to the doctor today. He was very upset to go without me , Had they asked me I would have told them I needed to go along and hold his hoof . As it was he went and his good eye, had now become his worse eye. He scratched it somehow and now he will have to wear an eye patch and have 2 different medicines 3 times a day and one medicine as needed and he has to wear an eye patch because he has to stay dilated. So we will be calling him Pirate Nick and will post pictures of him with his patch tomorrow.
