I need a phone number please

I need the number for the OEU, that stands for the Organized Equine Union. I need to join so I can stage a strike in protest. You may think this photo is simply myself watching the groundskeeper work, but no. Sadly enough that is not the case ................ The bald truth is that he was attempting to instruct me on how to scoop poop. Can you imagine anyone asking moi to do such a thing. I will walk through it and kick it around but I will never stoop to scoop it . I wouldn't have accepted the position around here if I had realized it actually required labor. I think I am going to faint..... it is all just too much.

Ever since they put Nicky in Charge of an area, I can barely stand to speak to him. He is so hung up on himself , he thinks he is just the cats meow now and .......

He just doesn't want to do anything but primp , preen and gaze adoringly at his own reflection in a mirror, he should know that I am the pretty one, he is only the cute one.

Further-more and even more disgusting , is that he wants to do his hair in the sexy wind blown look instead of keeping it pretty in braids like me . It is all just too gross.

I need to lie down awhile ,

OH HAPPY DAY

OH HAPPY HAPPY DAY !!!

You will not believe what has just transpired. Are you sitting down my dear devoted readers ? I just found out that the spa staff intended for Nicky and I to stay here at the spa forever .

I am so very excited I am beside myself ( oh wait , that's Nicky, my goodness we do look alike ) They offered us permanent positions , They want me to be in charge of all public relations and advertising.

Nicky is in charge of activities with people and personal relations. It would seem that the director of the spa believes that Nicky is much better with " pony rides ' than I am and for that I am grateful. I actually don't much like those little rascals sitting on my back slobbering on my pretty mane and I can assure you that wet spot on my back isn't because I was sweating.

I have a secondary job as well, I am to advocate for the little ones. It has been noticed that I have a gentle heart and just today I was seen as I put my head down and with my lips gently pushed the 19 baby ducks out of my way so I could walk past. ( I think I earned MAJOR brownie points for that one )

Nicky is as excited as I am. The big ninny really loves that woman who runs this place ( no I am not jealous, I am just embarrassed for him to be acting like some love sick fool) He also likes his job of giving children rides and doing silly tricks and giving smoochies.

As it turns out Chili was already a permanent resident and was asked to act like a guest to put us at ease. It seems she is an important part of the grounds crew and no job can be done without her constant input.

I will continue to blog as the head of public relations so have no fear, Daisy will not leave you just because of my new position and the fact that I am finally being appreciated for more than my good looks. I have also been given an assistant, Bob, He can maneuver heights for me and get a new and fresh angle on the news around here.

Toodaaloo for now

Another episode of ECSI ( Equine Crime Scene Investigation )

Hello all, Daisy here, back to my blogging.

As many of you know a duck hatched her babies in my room so I have been intimately involved since she started laying her eggs. My room has continued to be the nursery so I have counted the babies many times and when the babes were hatched there were 17.

It wasn't a smart move on her part to do all this in my quarters . I have the smallest room right now but still I have been extremely careful not to step on them. That stupid mother duck brought them into the room last night while I was standing there and I just froze until all of them had passed.

Now back to my story Within 24 hours 2 were dead. I think she accidentally smothered them herself ( so sad ) however the intermediate staff removed the bodies for burial and all went along as tho' nothing had happened ( ducks can't count higher than 1 so the mother duck didn't realize the loss )

Two days later the count was down to 10. I counted several times and am sure that she lost 5 more to predators. Duckling is obviously quite tasty and they are at danger from the land ( coons, possums, rats etc. ) The air ( hawks & owls ) and under the water ( turtles & gators)

Late the next day she had 18 and then this morning she has 19. The question remains, is it theft or kidnapping. where are they coming from, does no-one miss them. Is she taking advantage of the fact that no duck can count higher than 1 , so the other mothers aren't missing their children ??? , Oh my , what am I do do ? Do I need to report this to the authorities.

Oh Yeah by the way,

The hay is here and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Our only complaint is that we are given this delightful tidbits only about 6 times a day and we would like it more often.
