THE RIDEATHON
Dearest Readers, It was so lovely to visit with all our old friends at the Ride-a-thon today . Unfortunately Nicky was whining about how overheated he got last year so he go a hair cut this morning before we left.
Just like a boy isn't it, He had his personal stylist cut his name on his Butt. I was so embarrassed for him that I insisted that if I was going to be seen with him, it HAD to come off .
Not that this was much better, He looks like he has mange, can horses get mange ? Would it be contagious ? Should I go home and wash my hooves with soap and water ???? Oh No, I just realized it could be worse than mange.....WHAT IF IT IS A BAD HAIR DAY !!!!!!
Finally we arrived at the event, here is a young lady that went with me until the grounds keeper could show up. The housekeeper took the portable human stall and made coffee in the afternoon.
We had a lovely stroll on the medium trail, don't you agree that we are just such a cute couple. It is just too bad that Nicky is just sooo immature . I mean for goodness sake just try to cross the stream . The big dope splashes in the water, plays in the mud and trots around like he's just a little kid.
Nicky got into a discussion on the advantages of asking a Haflinger to live with you to be your daughters very best friend .
The groundskeeper showed up and we went back out on the short trail and then he helped us remove those bulky riding devises .
Here we are with some new friends we camped beside for the day.
And finally after a lovely, but grueling day ,of greeting my fans I had a relaxing roll in the dirt and a nap under the shade trees.
