MERRY CHRISTMAS

This blog starts with an apology. My lap top crashed and I had to finally sneak into the staffs indoor stall and use the PC. But I did and no one caught me , I'd make a good Santypaws.

I have been so busy this holiday season getting ready for Christmas company. I had to make trail tarts and cow chips, Daisy Dots, Nicky nuggets, donkey doodles and horse apples. I love preparing all kinds of Christmas treats !!

We have been enjoying taking afternoon strolls over at Popash park. Nicks eye is all better and we sure are taking advantage of this cool weather to get out at the park and enjoy the days. Nick has turned into such a fuzzy bear that we are careful not to get him hot . Every time we think its time to take him to the barber for a buzz cut the temperature drops to 40' so we wait and wait to make a decision.

I threw the Annual Spa Christmas Party. and everything was going well until Frank showed up as an elf. ( I didn't have the heart to tell him it was an alligator costume , not an elf )

He tried so hard to fit in out here at the barn ( or so we thought ) until we took our eyes off him for just a minute and found him trying to get to the new baby ducks. We heard him singing . on the ninth day of Christmas my true love brought to me .... Nine baby moscovies, eight turkey legs , seven milk bones .......

The Santa matron forcibly removed him from the party and told him not to come back til he slobbered up. Oh and she is soooo full of herself, Just because Mary rode to Bethlehem on a donkey . The way Fionas acting you'd think she was the actual donkey Mary rode. She can be such an A** some times !!!!!!

Can't you just see it now? An officer pulls over one of our party participants, " No sir, uh uh I haven't had anything to drink............ but I do remember this marinated turkey with a little red hat........ Ok you'd better take me in and let me sleep it off "

Our friend April was feeling sad so she came out to see me. Most of you know that the smell of horses has healing powers for women. I of course smell better than most horses so I wasn't surprised that she wanted to sniff me. She wrote us a thank you letter .

Our biggest gift this year was from the groundskeeper to the house keeper

You will notice in this photo a big ugly white storage container that has blocked the view of the field for the last 7-8 years.

He emptied the storage trailer to lighten it but allowed each of us to go through the stuff to see if there was any thing we needed before he threw it out .

And then he moved it . Now you can see the picturesque old barn that was originally put up for Tango when they first moved here in 1996. We still have our hay storage container but it is over by the neighbors Storage garage and you hardly notice it . Now he's building a garage attached to it to store the portable camping stall.

Last but not least we are proud to announce that the barn cat " little " finally at age 7 caught her first Rat, yes a baby one but we are still proud of her for finally understanding her job description.

She enjoyed it !!!!

And we hope you enjoy the Christmas Season . I will try to write again soon, there is alot going on next week and we will be sharing it with you.

Hershey Kisses,

Daisy
