DAISY IS IN CHARGE

Dearest readers,

As you know the staff is gone for a week, they had tryouts for new employees but our choice for hire was not able to stay and it has all fallen on me to keep things going around here. It is a terrible responsibility and if you will click on the articles you will see some of the goings on around here that happened last night.

TRAINING NEW SPA PERSONEL

Dear Adoring Public,

Some weeks ago we had a training session for new spa employees. As you know the staff was leaving on a hay run to Pennsylvania and were looking for someone to keep things running around here .

First we had tryouts for goose feeding


We had auditions for proper respect to myself and most importantly a well executed bow in my presence.

Nicky watched very carefully to see that the applicants measured the food portions properly.Everyone gathered around to give their opinions and rate these two prospects.

We did catch them trying to bribe Fiona with home grown carrots, and it worked !!!!

And the applicants were so cute and willing to please they had the ducks eating right out of their hands

Chili was a bit harder to win over but finally decided that these two may someday make wonderful spa workers.
The Tom went a step further and and looked over their vehicle for safety infractions and also checked their vehicle for speeding .

Fun days again

Dear Readers,

We are back to having fun, the horrible heat spell has broken and we got to go for a hike last night. Here I am getting my hair done prior to going , " Not so much tease please" Here is a video of Nicky being a sweet co-operative pony ( gag ) , I think the big dummy would put it in himself if he could ,

Today Eileen Coe came by to give me a acupressure treatment, here she is talking to my secretary to see if I am available for the appointment.

Of course everyone has to watch, they are such nosey bodies but I guess they can't help themselves, I am so beautiful and who can resist watching me .

BABY CHUCKS JOIN THE FAMILY

I don't even know what to say anymore. The hen and duck have stayed on the nest , even though the chick was getting big they refused to abandon all the other eggs so now we have 4 tiny baby brothers that resemble ducks. It was funny a few minutes ago, a rooster tried to bother them ( after all they are only ducks ) and he got tag teamed by two very, very angry mommys.
